Three months before its release, the promotional campaign around Avengers: Endgame will be rare. With the only promo, a poster and a trailer, it was enough to awaken the curiosity of the most skeptical. Yet, this one reveals very little. Unlike the usual trailers that tell almost the whole film. For those who wish to avoid the trailers for fear of ruining the movie, rest assured. All the promo around the film should be based on the first quarter of an hour.
Kevin Feige announced it at the Golden Globes ceremony at MTV News. Released by comicbook.com, the boss of Marvel Studios believes that the sequences in the teasers, trailers, and previews will only show images from the first fifteen or twenty minutes of the film. And this, to preserve the suspense created by the cliffhanger of Infinity War.
“As was the case with some of our films, this one, in particular, is able to generate a lot of enthusiasm without revealing one of the many secrets. I think the Disney marketing team is the best in the world and we can do it. ”
Many have just appreciated the little revelation of this first trailer. However, it would be a first that the campaign does not reveal much more elements of what awaits us next April. Especially as Feige reveals himself, neither he nor his team is behind the trailers. For those who wish to protect themselves from spoilers, it is probably more prudent to continue to avoid the following trailers. For the others, at least, we have a new clue: all the next images that we will see will certainly come from the first part of the film. What to think.
Avengers 4, directed by the Russo brothers, in theaters, on April 24, 2019.
