Do not expect Chadwick Boseman to rest on the laurels of Black Panther, it’s not his style!

This original project will be titled Da 5 Bloods and will be directed by Spike Lee (BlacKkKlansman, Old Boy). The success of the comedian and the filmmaker last year should make this project in common a most anticipated event. The director will be back with his partner BlacKkKlansman, Kevin Willmott, in charge of writing the screenplay for this feature film, seen as a kind of reboot of The Wrong Guys, an 80s comedy about five former Scouts who went camping in mountains that find themselves embarked on an improbable misunderstanding.

According to Variety, who published the information, the film will follow this time the story of veterans of Vietnam who return to the jungle to find their innocence lost. Jean Reno (Leon, The Visitors), well-known French actor of the public, could get a role in Da 5 Bloods, as well as Delroy Lindo (who has already collaborated with the filmmaker for Malcolm X).
