Bromance
The news that kills everything. Disney is in the process of developing a television series around the duo Sam “Falcon” Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky “Winter Soldier” Barnes (Sebastian Stan). You imagine a little something! Hell, I’m going crazy.
The big projects are multiplying at Disney Play
How to compete with Netflix? Disney Play seems to have understood it by mounting very large projects. We had recently learned that the Star Wars The Mandalorian series directed by Jon “Iron man” Favreau had started filming. In addition, I take the opportunity to clarify that the film on Boba Fett by James Mangold has been canceled in favor of this series. Good, because it was likely to duplicate.
On the Marvel side, Disney Play was planning two TV shows. One with Wanda “Scarlet Witch” Maximoff and the other with Loki. These are two big series with a big budget (The Mandalorian is $ 100 million for one season – it’s Game of Thrones level), turning between six and eight episodes and with the stars of the movies . Ultimate precision, these series are not directed by Marvel TV, but by Marvel Studios, the studio directed by Kevin Feige and behind all the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So, unlike the Netflix Marvel series, their inclusion in the MCU would actually be effective.
“Can you move your seat up? ”
The choice of the Falcon / Winter Soldier duo seems to me quite relevant as it worked wonders in Captain America: Civil War. Between a seat to move and a two-on-one fight with Spider-Man, I had feasted and I do not think I’m the only one.
The series, not yet confirmed by Disney (logical, given the end of Infinity War), is under development following the hiring of Malcolm Spellman, writer on the Empire series, to write the screenplay.
