The prince/princess soul that was promised.this comes into play. Why did you talk about this famous story via Melisandre in season 7 if it is to leave it in suspense? We doubt that anything was done randomly and it would be rather cool to see Daenerys reincarnate this legendary figure to avoid a long night falling on Westeros.
JON GOES THE TAHIRDaenerys may not be the promised Princess, and it may even be Jon who takes on this crucial role.
