The Night King and his army of White Walkers caused the destruction of Winterfell and killed thousands of soldiers during the Battle of Episode 3 of Game of Thrones Season 8. To everyone’s surprise, Arya Stark managed to stop the carnage by planting a deadly stab in the chest of the Night King. We have been waiting for years to discover the motivations of the dead and to understand their origins.
