HARLEY QUINN IS NOT EXPECTED FOR THE SUICIDE SQUAD

Last night, the site Forbes spoke about some rumors around the next DC movies and especially those around the character of Harley Quinn.

According to their own sources, Margot Robbie would not be present in The Suicide Squad, the relaunch by James Gunn of the first movie of which she was the star. We already knew that the director and screenwriter were looking for a near-complete change in the roster of the villain’s squad, but we were a lot to think that Harley was the only one not to move. If this is true, the rumor that Warner wanted a movie with this character per year is no longer relevant.

We can still find it in Birds of Prey, but it seems that the rumors of a crossover with Gotham City Sirens would be completely false, any more than Batgirl has any connection with the first movie at the moment. Finally, Jared Leto’s Joker movie and the Harley and Joker couple are abandoned.

You’ll find Birds of Prey on February 7, 2020, and The Suicide Squad on August 6, 2021, at the movies (American dates).
