Marvel phase

The Marvel phases Launched in 2008 with Iron Man, the MCU currently contains 29 released movies and 7 series released as well. A giant puzzle for novices, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now divided into 6 phases since the announcement of phases 5 and 6 at the San Diego Comic-Con in 2022. These six phases are represented below in the order of release of the films and not in chronological order.

— BEGINNING OF THE INFINITY SAGA —

Phase 1 (2008 – 2012) contains the films: Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: First Avenger, and The Avengers.

Phase 2 (2012 – 2015) contains the films: Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Cape Tain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man.

Phase 3 (2016 – 2019) contains the films: Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

— BEGINNING OF THE MULTIVERSE SAGA —

Phase 4 (2021 – 2022) contains the films and series: WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Loki, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Eternals, Hawkeye, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Moon Knight, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Ms. Marvel, Thor: Love and Thunder, She-Hulk: Lawyer, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Guardians of the Galaxy: Holidays Special.

Phase 5 (2022 – 2024) contains the films and series: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Secret Invasion, Echo, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Loki – season 2, The Marvels, Ironheart, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Daredevil: Born Again, Captain America: New World Order, Thunderbolts and the postponed film that concludes the phase: Blade.

Phase 6 (2024 – 2025) is the last segment of the Multiverse saga. It currently contains only four films, although many projects have not yet been announced. The film that begins this phase is Deadpool 3, followed by Fantastic 4 in February 2025 and the two films that conclude it are Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
