Finally ! Richard Rider should land in the MCU, and it’s not too early.
It seems to us that it’s been years since Marvel Studios teased us the arrival of Nova … In May, we thought he would land in phase 4 of the MCU, following some rather enthusiastic comments from Joe Russo , one of the directors of Avengers Endgame. In short, since the time we hear about it, we are pretty sure that Richard Rider will end up having his own solo adventure on the big screen. The only problem is that it is late to be officially announced! However, according to the Cosmic MCU website, things would be accelerating for the vigilante, since according to their sources, Nova will start on the big screen in Phase 5.
He should be one of the important characters that will be introduced in the next phase of Marvel Studios, alongside Blade (who will be played by Mahershala Ali in the reboot), Fantastic Four and X-Men. With a little luck, and if one believes the very positive sources of the site, Richard Rider’s solo adventures could be among the first to land in this next salvo. For now, all that is known about the MCU post Phase 4 is the date of release in theaters Black Panther 2 in May 2022. However, we know that two places are available the same year in the calendar, one in February and the other in July, which leaves enough space to slide Nova’s cosmic wanderings.
