Wiki Univers Cinématographique Marvel is vast, very vast. It includes 23 movies and will have 29 by the end of 2021. The latter is therefore divided into several phases that follow a narrative arc. Here is the list of all the films composing phase 2 of the MCU, in order of release, with several information (synopsis, simplified datasheet and global distribution) about them.
This phase follows the continuation of the adventures of the Avengers after the first crossover film (Avengers – 2012). It also introduces the first cosmic team of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the presence of the Guardians of the Galaxy, a film released in 2014. The movie will really introduce the supervillain Thanos, who is the big threat of the Infinity Saga. After the sequels of the solo films (Iron Man 3, Captain America 2 and Thor 2), the Avengers reunite to fight against Ultron, in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Three new heroes will appear in the film, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Vision. This phase finally ends with the first Ant-Man movie, released in 2015, a few months after Avengers 2. This film sets up the Quantum World, which will have an important place later.
