Very active on his Vero social network, Zack Snyder unveiled the first picture he took of Gal Gadot. That day he knew he had found his incarnation of Wonder Woman.
With Batman v Superman, Snyder built what was going to be the DC universe in movies. He had to find the new Batman but also the new Wonder Woman. Seeing further, he also took care of finding those who will play Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg. Thus, paving the way for future DC films, with varying degrees of success.
Last year, the director unveiled Henry Cavill’s first picture in Superman. Full of emotion, the actor wore the same costume as that of Christopher Reeve in the 70s version. Today, Zack Snyder unveils the photo of Gal Gadot’s cast. The Amazon costume is much more complicated to modernize, do not expect to see it in that of Linda Carter. It’s still a simple portrait, yet we recognize Diana Prince, and we understand Snyder’s choice. The message is always accompanied by so many emotions. “It was the first day I met Gal and here is the first picture I took of her. She did not know at the time that I had already decided that she was my Wonder Woman. ”
If Batman v Superman and Justice League have received a mixed reception, it is clear that the choice of actresses and actors to embody the DC superheroes have won. Hard to imagine another Superman, and no doubt it is as difficult today to imagine another Wonder Woman as Gal Gadot.
