Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania the second trailer

Ant man the wasp

This is what happens when writers actually write stuff they love. And producers hire writers who know what they’re doing! No character seems out of place! This is just perfect! Oh man, this movie is gonna be an emotional roller coaster!

Witness the birth of a new dynasty

Because casually, the new Marvel Studios also serving as an opening for Phase 5 of the MCU comes out in a month. So it’s time for a second trailer with a batch of new posters.

By the way, the duration of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania has been revealed, it will be the longest film of the trilogy directed by Peyton Reed , but not by much. With 125 minutes, it narrowly exceeds Ant-Man (117 minutes) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (118 minutes).

This trailer doesn’t really offer anything new compared to the first one. So much the better, I want to say, there will be more surprises in the cinema. Nevertheless, this does not prevent it from offering strong visuals. I have the shot in mind where Kang smashes Scott Lang ‘s helmet with a great POV. But also these plans with the thousands of Ant-Man or even this furtive close-up on MODOK in golden armor (if you are attentive, you can also see him briefly without his armor).

For the rest, this third episode of the Ant-Man trilogy seems to be moving towards the dark. Between Scott Lang ready to sacrifice a lot to make up for lost time with his daughter (I loved the flashback passage where we see him with little Cassie – how horrible it is for a parent not to see his child grow up child) and a Kang really put forward (until the tagline of the film: “Witness the birth of a new dynasty” referring to the next Avengers: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty ) and certainly badass.

“No need to win. As long as we both lose. »

Moreover, unlike the previous two, the epic really seems to be in the game. Mind you, I really liked both Ant-Mans, but it was more minor Marvel than anything. There, we are sent sublime sets and a very heavy stake. Still, the Wasp and its parents seem to take a back seat. Are we having a surprise? Since Bill Murray is not even in the game when he is an important character.

I finish the article with the two new posters. Note that contrary to what one might think, the second poster is not an association of photos, but indeed, a drawing. It changes and the effect is cool. But my favorite poster so far is the first one.
