Woody Harrelson will be the super villain of Venom 2, and an artist made us happy to imagine the result for us. Friendly.
We announced on melty, the big villain of the sequel of Venom, will be none other than Carnage, the Symbiote version of serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson). This villain, an enemy of Spider-Man, is a far more bloody alternative than Venom (whose human version, Eddie Brock, is embodied by Tom Hardy), the Carnage symbiote thinking only of killing. He appeared for the first time in comics books of the 90s, in numbers of Amazing Spider-Man (Cletus Kasady in No. 344 and Carnage in No. 361). An artist posted on his Instagram account his vision of this evil villain, and we must say that we are rather impressed!
Bright pink flesh on tense muscles, rows of sharp teeth, black tentacles wrapped around the chest … This fan-art imagines a carnage that would give us almost nightmares! This character known for his love of gore and violence could well make the sequel a film forbidden to the under-17s unaccompanied (like the reboot of Hellboy). However, the producer Avi Arad explained last year to Collider that “When you hear Carnage, the only thing you think is R. But, if you know the story, if you’ve read the comics, there’s nothing. there is no R here. It is a tortured soul. It’s not about what he’s doing, because we will not have to show a blade going from there to there, and the blood will be shed. “We’re not convinced, and fans are likely to to be disappointed …
