Captain Marvel: the fun strategy of the editor to get hired

When we want we can
At this moment, the promotion of Captain Marvel is in full swing, but your servant is turning a deaf ear and blind eye not to be spoiled (I have not even seen the new trailer). However, the anecdote of the day is not a spoiler but a very fun thing. The kind of story to go out in the evening.

Debbie’s Inception
A Cinemablend reporter spoke with Debbie Berman, Captain Marvel’s co-editor (but also Spider-Man: Homecoming and Black Panther), and the latter revealed to him his particular technique for getting hired:

I wanted to work on Captain Marvel the second it was announced. So, throughout my time on Spider-Man [Homecoming], I bought a Captain Marvel t-shirt, and every time I knew that Kevin Feige was coming to work, I was wearing my Captain Marvel t-shirt. I just wanted them to create as a subconscious association between me and Captain Marvel. I imagine that one day all the executives were sitting together and were like, “Whom should we take for Captain Marvel? And then someone said, I do not know why, but at all times, just thinking of Captain Marvel, for some unintentional reason, I think of Debbie Berman. And then I guess everyone has agreed. ” Yeah me too. It’s very strange. It must be a sign. When we were on Captain Marvel, on the first day after the shoot and the directors were present and I was wearing the same Captain Marvel t-shirt, Kevin Feige came and one of the directors looked at me and said, “Wow, that sounds really old. It’s vintage? And Kevin said she was wearing it all the time on “Spider-Man”. Okay. I guess he noticed.

Good game! I will now wear a Silver Surfer t-shirt every day at work, but I’m not sure my chefs understand. At the same time, my current job has nothing to do with Marvel …

Captain Marvel is scheduled in France for March 6, 2019.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, based on a screenplay by Meg LeFauve, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Liz Flahive & Carly Mensch and Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck, with Brie Larson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Nicole Perlman,Gemma Chan, ,McKenna Grace, Lashana Lynch, Samuel L Jackson, Lee Pace, Temte Rune,  Clark Gregg and Jude Law.

“Captain Marvel tells the philosophy and story of Carol Danvers who will become among the most powerful superheroes of the universe when the planet Earth will become the stake of a” galactic war between two extraterrestrial races. This totally new adventure takes place in the 90s, a time that had never before been addressed in the Marvel film universe.
